The Administration of the Ports of Douro, Leixões, and Viana do Castelo, S.A., announces that the railway scale service is now available for transportation. This service covers the needs of clients of the Leixões port and the Leixões Freight Railway Terminal (TFML), promoting efficiency and logistic optimization, enhancing the operability of freight transportation, and contributing to a more sustainable service.

The railway scale, installed by APDL, has the following characteristics:

- Weighing capacity: 60 tonnes per bogie
- Division: 20 kg
- Maximum non-weighing passage speed: 35 km/h
- Power supply: 230V / 50Hz / 500VA

Certified by ISQ, the railway scale offers comprehensive functionalities, including weighing each wagon in less than 1 minute, weighing in both directions, automatic detection of the wagon's position to be weighed, and data integration into the APDL's information system, the 3PL WIS, thus ensuring operational agility and smoothness without significant delays in respective transportation.
