Article 1º

Maximum Rates to Apply

1 – In container loading and unloading operations at the port of Leixões, a maximum rate per ISO standard container with normal dimensions will be applied when handled with automatic means and within the normal operating hours of the terminal. The applicable rate is as follows:

2 – The tariff established in the preceding clause covers the following operations:

a) For containers to be loaded:

Reception and unloading of the container from the vehicle or wagon to the terminal yard;
Loading onto the vehicle and transportation to the ship;
Container boarding onto the ship.

b) For containers to be unloaded:

Unloading the container from the ship to the vehicle or wagon;
Transportation between the ship and the terminal yard;
Unloading at the terminal yard;
Loading onto the vehicle or wagon for exit from the terminal.

c) Hold-to-hold transshipment

Transfer of containers on board the ship.

d) Hold-to-quay-to-hold transshipment

Transfer of containers both on board and on shore.

3 – The loading or unloading of direct containers in regularly authorized cases will be subject to the tariff established in paragraph 1 of this article.

4 – The storage of containers in the terminal's parking areas is free for the first 5 days. After the 5th day, and counted from the first day of storage, the following tariffs will be applied:

Up to 10 days - €1.92/TEU/day

After 10 days - €3.48/TEU/day

Article 2º

Maximum rates to be applied when there is no maritime transport

1 - For full containers transported by truck or wagon to the export yard that do not end up being loaded and leave the terminal again, the tariff to be applied will be €92.72 per container.

2 – For empty containers received by truck or wagon for parking at the terminal and not intended for loading, which then leave the terminal again, the tariff to be applied will be €69.34 per container.

Article 3º

Complementary Services

The Leixões Container Terminal will provide, upon request, the following complementary services:

a) Support services for the ship and equipment

1) Lashing / unlashing - €1,157.70 per shift
2 Hatch covers - €189.93 per cover
3) Issuance of container inspection report - €11.61 per container

b) Cargo support

1) Handling of damaged cargo - €1,698.12 per shift
2) Container sweeping - €19.28 per container

3) Weighing (Solas Convention)

3.1) Method 1 - Weighing of sealed consolidated container €109.60 per weighing
3.2) Method 2 - Weighing of each individual cargo item and addition of weights to container tare €27.40 per weighing

4) Inspections:

4.1) NIF* € 160,78 per container
4.2) Veterinary* - €269.83 per container
4.3) Phytosanitary* - €269.83 per container
4.4) Scanner - €128.94 per container
4.5) Verification with 50% or more discrepancy in declared weight - €562.83 per container

4.6) Containers presented to Customs and not inspected - €128.94 per container
4.7) Containers inspected in the yard with seal verification and/or temperature measurement - €76.78 per container
Note: Services marked with an asterisk (*) include any necessary handling of less than 50% of the declared weight, additional movements in the yard, transportation, door opening/closing, sealing, and return to the lot.

c) Other complementary services

a) Loading / unloading of containers requiring special handling - €189.93 per container
b) Removal of containers on board requiring special handling - €123.60 per container
c) Removal of containers from quay requiring special handling - €237.43 per container

d) Additional yard movement due to third-party responsibility - €38.39 per movement
e) Transportation of containers within the terminal due to third-party responsibility - €13.44 per movement.

Article 4º

Maximum rates to be applied to containers unloaded for transshipment to other ports:

Containers unloaded at the terminal for subsequent shipment to other ports that do not leave the port during their stay nor undergo cargo handling will be charged the following rates:

Article 5º

Refrigerated containers

For the services provided by the terminal for these containers, the following rates are charged:

a) Connect / disconnect containers:

b) Supply of electrical power:

Energy consumption €20.05 / day / container

c) Temperature control (import/export per day/container)

Article 6º

Maximum Rates ti Apply

1 – In the operations of loading and unloading of non-containerized cargo at Leixões Container Terminal, a tariff of €10.78 per ton will be applied.

This tariff covers the following operations:

a) Goods loaded: Movement from the quay to the ship.

b) Goods unloaded: Movement from the ship to the quay.

2 – In the operations of loading and unloading of light vehicles and similar vehicles at Leixões Container Terminal, a tariff of €152.24 per unit will be applied.

This tariff covers loading and unloading operations.

3 – In the operations of loading and unloading of heavy vehicles above 3.5 tons and heavy equipment at Leixões Container Terminal, a tariff of €152.24 per every 6 minutes will be applied.

This tariff covers the following operations:

a)  Goods loaded:

Movement from the quay to the ship.

b) Goods unloaded:

Movement from the ship to the quada

4 – Storage

For the use of the platform for the storage of non-containerized goods, the following tariffs will be charged:

Up to 15 calendar days - €0.194/m²/day
From 15 to 30 calendar days - €0.392/m²/day
More than 31 calendar days - €0.769/m²/day

Article 7º

Complementary Services

1 – Leixões Container Terminal will provide, upon request, the following complementary services:

a) Support services for the ship and equipment

1) Non-specialized lashing/unlashing - €1,157.70 per shift (does not include specialized operations)
2) baldeação a bordo dentro do mesmo porão 21,65 € / tonelada
3) baldeação a bordo para outro porão 43,18 € / tonelada
4) baldeação via cais 43,18 € / tonelada 

b) de apoio à movimentação de mercadoria não contentorizada:

1) pré-receção de mercadoria 1003,18 € / turno
2) levante da mercadoria 1003,18 € / turno
3) pré-receção de equipamentos pesados 91,66 € / 6 minutos
4) levante de equipamentos pesados 91,66 € / 6 minutos

Artigo 8º

1 – Fornecimentos de água e energia eléctrica

O Concessionário prestará os serviços acessórios de fornecimento de água e energia eléctrica aos navios atracados no terminal, mediante tarifário constante do Regulamento de Tarifas da APDL.

Artigo 9º

Segurança

1 - O Concessionário para providenciar a aplicação das medidas estabelecidas no Código de Segurança conhecido por ISPS, e, bem assim, garantir a segurança das cargas que Ihe são confiadas, aplica uma tarifa de € 10,00 por contentor movimentado.

2 – Estão isentos da tarifa a que se refere o número anterior os contentores vazios e os contentores em trânsito (transhipment).

Artigo 10º

As tarifas são válidas de 1 de Janeiro de 2023 a 31 de Dezembro de 2023 e para as operações efetuadas dentro do horário normal de funcionamento do Porto de Leixões.
